The seventh issue of Finance Asia magazine published an article entitled “Best Companies in China in 2002”. Based on research conducted in 2002 over relative countries and regions, the article listed top ten companies in China respectively in terms of best managed company, best investor relations, best financial management, strongest commitment to enhancing shareholder value, company most committed to corporate governance. HPI ranked No.6, 7, 4, 4 and 6 respectively in those five categories.
