Mr. Shen Xuejun was born in July 1955 in Jilin. Being a senior engineer, he was graduated in 1978 from Northeast Electric Power Institute specializing in power systems. He began his career in the same year at Tongliao Power Plant Electrical division and was technician, deputy maintenance manager, administrative manager, electrical division chief, production division chief, deputy chief engineer, and deputy superintendent. In 1996, he was transferred to Huaneng Dandong Power Plant and appointed deputy superintendent and later, superintendent in May 2001.
